Smoke Damper
The SD-182-SS smoke damper employs 304 stainless steel airfoil blades for point-of-origin control of smoke in static and dynamic smoke management systems. The SD-182-SS is qualified to 2,000 ft/min (10.16 m/s) and 4 in.wg. (1.0 kPa) and may be installed in, or adjacent to, vertical walls or partitions, or horizontally in, or adjacent to, floors or assemblies
Frame: 5" x 1" (127 x 25) stainless steel hat channel with interlocking corner gusset. Equivalent to 13 ga. (2.4) channel frame. Low profile head and sill are used on sizes less than 13" (330) high.
Blades: 6" x 14 ga. (152 x 2.0) equivalent stainless steel - airfoil.
Side-Plate: 12" x 20 ga. (305 x 1.0) stainless steel.
Axles: 1/2" (13) diameter stainless steel hex.
Linkage: Concealed in frame.
Bearings: Stainless steel oilite, sleeve-type.
Seals: Silicone blade edge seals inegrally rolled and mechanicaly fastened to blades. Flexible metal jamb seals.
Actuator: 120 VAC, power-open, spring-close, external mount.

Maximum Size: Single section: 24" × 36" (610 × 914)
Type C: 22" × 34" (559 × 864)
Multiple section: 96" × 72" (2439 × 1829)
